Rai Shizuno
Immersing himself in nature, and exploring the essentiality through photography,
Shizuno continues his journey of communication with others.
His activities have recently been expanding to magazine inquiries such as
ANA inflight magazine Tsubasa no ōkoku (Kingdom of wings),
advertisements including Ron Herman, The North Face,planning/shooting of the
WAVEMENT project; a trip to the Rokkasho Reprocessing Plant to find its true facts,
documentary photo shooting of French equestrian theater company ZINGARO,
and collaborations such as the YATAI TRIP project with
contemporary artist Takashi Kuribayashi who themes in working on “borderlines.”
Shizuno founded CINEMA AMIGO in his hometown Zushi, and also is the
representative of CINEMA CARAVAN, an art project which excavates mutual understandings through connecting the local people and their cultures he had encountered through his journeys.
Screening events have been held in diverse occasions including the Zushi Beach Film Festival which he founded through his connections with the community and local creators, Tokyo International Film Festival, San Sebastián International Film Festival, Echigo-Tsumari Art Field, ART JOG (Yogyakarta), Gunkanjima (Nagasaki) and Shirakawa-go (Gifu) to name a few.
2022 Participates in the international arts festival 『Documenta 15』as
CINEMA CARAVAN + TAKASHI KURIBAYASHI.
He continues his journey, searching for sensibilities beyond himself everyday.

志津野 雷（しずの らい）写真家/ CINEMA CARAVAN代表／逗子海岸映画祭発起人
神奈川県逗子市を拠点に活動。
2009年「逗子海岸映画祭」を立ち上げ、CINEMA CARAVANメンバーとともに
映画・音楽・アート・食を横断するフェスティバルとして発展させる。
移動式野外映画館としてサン・セバスティアン国際映画祭や越後妻有大地の芸術祭など、
国内外の映画・アートイベントを演出。
また、写真家として世界各地を旅し、風景や人々、土地の空気感を独自のまなざしで切り取る。
ANA機内誌『翼の王国』をはじめとする雑誌、Ron Herman、CANONなどの広告撮影を手がけるほか、国内外のアーティストとのコラボレーションや空間演出など、多様な表現活動を展開している。
2016年に写真集『ON THE WATER』を発表。
2018年には生演奏と映像を融合させた作品『PLAY WITH THE EARTH』を制作し、映像・音楽・体験を通じて「地球とともに生きる感覚」を共有する活動を続けている。
2022年、世界最大級の現代美術展「ドクメンタ15」（ドイツ・カッセル）に参加。
2023年には現代美術家・栗林隆とともに「六本木アートナイト」に出展。
旅と表現、そして人とのつながりを軸に、映像・写真・アートインスタレーションなど、
ジャンルを越えて活動をひろげている
